Adenuga Adedeji Damilola, Who goes by the artistic name “Dsoul”, sometimes stylised as African boi (Son Of The Light), is an award winning, very talented and
versatile singer, songwriter and producer. Born in Ijebu Ode, Ogun state and grew up in Surulere area of Lagos State, Nigeria. As a child, he started recording
music at the age of 13. Using church mic and equipment. Dsoul attended Ijebu Muslim college, and he’s an Undergraduate of creative art. Music was his
passion, so he grew up particularly captivated and listening to artists such as Fela Kuti, Bob Marley, Shabba Ranks, plantashun Boiz, and Kanye west. He began Music professionally in the year 2015. As a great performing artist, he never fails to leave the crowd demanding for more. At the recent edition of Vogue awards 2020 and 2019, he won the award as “the best reggae act of the year”.
